Notes not syncing on iOS app

My notes are not syncing to or from the iOS app.
I’ve logged out and logged back in on my phone, which resulted in all of the notes disappearing from my phone and never returning. The notes are still there on the desktop webapp, which means the notes are on the server, just not syncing to my phone.
I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the app, which did not change anything.
I also turned my phone off and on again, nothing happened.
I have DNS-level ad blocking on my phone but it has never been a problem before and I have tried disabling DNS as well.
