iOS app shows “Create your first note” after reinstall

Hello, my Simplenote account shows all of my notes on the web app, but the iOS app is blank after reinstalling. I need a Happiness Engineer to investigate please. I’ve included everything I can about the problem and the steps I’ve already tried.
Problem summary:
– Web app shows all my notes and they appear correct on the server.
– On the iPhone app I signed in to the same account; the app shows a spinner indicating syncing, but then the notes list becomes empty if I close and reopen, and displays “Create your first note”.
– Pull-to-refresh is not possible. Signing out and back in also results in the same behavior (spinner, then blank).
– I do not use a VPN or ad blocker. Network appears normal and other apps have internet access.Steps I have already tried (per the Simplenote Help docs):
1. Confirmed I am signed into the right account in the iPhone app.
2. Reinstalled the iPhone app.
3. Pulled down to refresh multiple times and waited several minutes for the app to download notes.
4. Signed out of the app and signed back in.
5. Checked the tags drawer and there are no visible tags or notes in the app.
6. Verified no VPN/ad-blocking or network filters are in use, and iPhone has working internet.
7. Confirmed notes are present and intact on the web app.Observed behavior and timing:
– On app start or after sign-in I see a spinner (sync activity), then the screen shows “Create your first note.” when I finally give up and reopen the app.
– No error messages are displayed in the app.
– Pull-to-refresh does not function.What I need from Support:
– Please investigate why the iPhone app is not downloading my server notes even though the web app displays them.
– If there are known server-side issues or account-specific flags that might cause the app to think the account is empty, please let me know the mitigation steps or if you need to perform server-side fixes.Please advise next steps or ask for any additional details you need to investigate!

Hi, I’ve had the same problem, and the same thing has been reported here
The iphone app no longer syncs with my notes and since I signed in and out won’t display any at all.
I have
Signed in and out
Checked my notes are on the web app (and backed them up)
Restarted my phone
Checked I am using the same account
Checked for any network connection issues on my phone
Checked I’ve got the latest version of the appNothing works, so I’m just left with an empty iphone app.
The notes sync between the web app and the windows desktop app
I’d be very grateful for any help
