WYSIWYG supports highlighting by enclosing text in “==” prefix and suffix

For long term stable .MD I use Joplin on Windows (10 & 11). But syncing it on other platforms sometimes takes too long, so for new .MD I use SimpleNote cuz it is supported everywhere and its Sync is reliable. Joplin has a very full functioned support for .MD. Sometimes I use Joplin’s advanced .MD in SimpleNote as it may get migrated there as updates slow down.

One Joplin feature I use is highligting by enclosing text in a “==” prefix and suffix. I noticed that despite no mentioning of this feature in SimpleNote that the new WYSIWYG version renders that text with a yellow highlight.

This is a welcome new feature, I hope you officially support it. Thx. A big fan….

Another feature I use is colored text, using “<div> <span> <font>”, interestingly this works on SimpleNote Android, but not on other platforms.
