ReCaptcha is bad and your captcha system needs to be fixed.

reCAPTCHA is bad because it is owned by Google. Google services collect all of a users information and gives it away to people that with the data drain our wallets and attempt to control all aspects of our lives. Obviously, this is a violation of cybersecurity as well as human rights. Your Captcha system is also bad because it keeps making me do more and more of them in a row and the service is really slow so it creates a new mini-game after more seconds than it needs to- Imagine counting to 4 Mississippi just so it can say you failed again because you didn’t click on the exhaust pipe of a moped. The captcha is also bad because it is laborious to pay attention to a task so trivial, as it is distracting to have to focus on making sure every thing is right before you hit enter. this tediousness makes captcha feel like an exam and in the year of 2026, there is no reason it should feel so outdated and slow. Additionally, remove having to do captcha a second time, I already did it to enter the email, therefore doing one again for the password is just redundant. In some of the other discussions about this issue, the person voicing their complaint was told to change their computer software. I disagree, no one should have to change their computers as a solution to faulty software, it is on the company to fix the issue, of which judging by the date of the posts I’m referencing, hasn’t been done. So please, stop using reCAPTCHA and fix your online Turing test, its not 2007.
