No notes on simplenote app and web when i logged in
-
My main device which is a phone died so i switched to a temporary device. When i tried to log in to the simplenote app i downloaded, the notes show that there’s no notes as if it was a new account. I thought it only needs a few minutes to load like usual, which is the case I usually encounter in web. I waited but there’s no update on my nites whatsoever.
That’s when I tried logging into the web just to encounter the same problems. My notes are gone and I am not sure what to do. Should I try export when I don’t even see a single note?

i noticed that it could be a server issue, since there’s an icon indicating that simplenote hasn’t communicated with the server for awhile. My connection is secure and my account is the same. Should I wait for a few hours atleast?

Hi. Unfortunately, this tends to happen from time to time. Your notes are not “gone”; you are just having trouble reaching simperium.com, where the server is located. You could try connecting though a different network (WiFi vs mobile maybe) or through a VPN to a different country.

Hi @anastasiathayzendo –
To echo @johnswift37, would you try checking your home network settings?
For example, if you’re using a router, you may try resetting it. Please see if your network has any sort of blocking or filtering installed on it as well. One example would be this: https://pi-hole.net
