    New line spacing not working on the android apps with font size setting small
    I already used simple note for a while now but It only did this few days ago and I tried reinstalling it multiple times already but the issue still persists

    For now, downgrading to version 2.38 fix the issue

    Thanks for letting us know, and for testing the downgrade.

    We tried this on one of our test phones but couldn’t reproduce it there, so it may depend on the device or setup.

    Staying on 2.38 is fine for now.

    To help us narrow it down, could you share:

    • Your phone model and Android version
    • Which keyboard app you use (for example Default Samsung Keyboard or something else)

    • Phone Model: Honor 8X
    • Android Version: Android 8.1
    • Keyboard App: Gboard (Google Keyboard)

    Hi there,

    Thanks for sending your device details, and for testing the older version. That helped a lot.

    I’ve passed everything to our developers, including your device details and the fact that 2.38 works. I can’t promise a timeline for a fix yet.

    For now, staying on 2.38 is the best option. So Google Play doesn’t update you back to 2.39 automatically, you can turn off auto-updates for Simplenote:

    1. Open Simplenote’s page in the Google Play Store.
    2. Tap the ⋮ menu in the top-right corner.
    3. Uncheck “Enable auto update”.

    You can turn it back on once a newer version fixes this.
