macOS widget opens iPhone Mirroring and not the macOS app

I really like the fact that Simplenote has highly functional widgets on all platforms like Android, iOS and macOS. But the macOS app is directing to the iPhone Mirroring app and not the macOS app, which defeats the purpose of having the widget if I can’t access the app through the widget. I have switched off the “Use iPhone widgets” from the System Settings and re-added the widget, still the issue persists. Hoping it could get fixed soon. Thank you.

It sounds like you’re looking for a desktop widget, which we currently don’t have. We’ve seen a similar feature request here, but unfortunately, no new features or enhancement is planned for Simplenote per this announcement.
