Lost All My Recent Updates…..Again!

    Two days ago, I spent hours working in your online browser version of Simplenote. 

    Today, I logged in using the app. 

    The app opened quickly, but the page I selected had a delayed start. 

    The screen was black for a minute or two. 

    Once it opened, all the work I had done was gone! 

    And this is not the first time this has happened! 

    So, I logged in to the browser and you guessed it, all my work is gone! 

    God Damn you people! 

    I am so sick of this happening!  

    Now I will have to spend hours rebuilding what I did!  

    But I needed to access the information now, Friday morning!  

    I am so pissed off! 

    Thanks to Simplenote for not syncing again. 

    When I opened the app, it overwrote the browser data. 

    The backup goes from today’s login and then jumps to May 31st. 

    But I did the work on June 10th and it’s not showing up in the backup. 

    Wonderful.

    Now, when I open the app, I’m getting the “App is Not Working, Wait or Close” constantly. I was going to try to restore from the app, but now it’s not working, again.

    This is the same error I saw months ago.

    Hi. It sounds like your internet provider has lost the route to simperium.com, which is the cloud server used by Simplenote. Try to access simperium.com in the browser. You cannot login, just try to access the welcome page. If you cannot reach simperium.com, you cannot use Simplenote reliably, and there’s nothing Simplenote or Automattic can do to fix it.

    First of all, I have a 1 GB internet connection. Second, I never have a problem with any apps or websites loading. This is the identical problem I’ve had with Simplenote in the past and at the time I lived 34 miles away in a different house. So, no, I’m not losing connection with anything. The problem is with your phone app not properly syncing with your services and when it does, it overwrites the old data in the phone with what I have in the browser. The phone app is also giving me the exact same errors it gave me at the old house. It’s something your team worked on in the past to resolve. It took weeks. This problem is all your fault for your software not working right! I’m sick of it. I spend hours creating things, writing, doing calculations, only for it to all disappear when I try to access it from the phone app.

    I also cannot stand how you try to blame other things for your software problems. I did go to the suggested website, and it loaded fully in less than 1 second. So, no, that’s not the problem.
