Display first line as normal text in mobile app

  In the mobile app (iPhone), the first line of every note is automatically rendered in large bold text (as if it were H1 header markdown).

  Is it possible to change the settings so that the first line of each note is displayed as normal text? I have already toggled off the “Markdown” option, with no effect.

  The formatting of the first line in the Simplenote iOS app is separate from Markdown, so disabling Markdown will not change it.

  At the moment, there isn’t a setting to display the first line as regular body text. As a workaround, you can start the note with a blank line and begin typing on the second line. Your text should then appear using the normal formatting.

  I agree that having an option to disable this styling would be useful, and I’ve passed your feedback along.
