Deleted notes from trash by accident

About 2 months ago (I think) accidentally deleted a note and when trying to recover it I accidentally deleted it
is there any way of getting it back

Once a note is removed from Trash itself (not just moved there from your notes list), it’s permanently deleted and there’s no way for us to bring it back on our end. Trash is designed as the safety net, so anything still sitting in Trash can be restored, but anything cleared out of Trash is gone for good.
If you’re not sure whether the note was fully removed from Trash or if it might still be there, here’s what’s worth checking:
Open the Trash tag in whichever app you use most, and also in the web app at https://app.simplenote.com, since what’s visible can vary slightly by device until everything syncs. Details on finding and restoring notes from Trash are here: https://simplenote.com/help/#deleted
If the note isn’t in Trash and there’s no export to pull from, I’m sorry to say it isn’t recoverable from our side. Going forward, exporting a backup periodically (Settings > Tools > Export Notes) is the best way to have something to fall back on if this happens again.
