Cannot login to Simplenote via Safari or Chrome on MacOS10.15.7

When I access http://www.simplenote.com on Safari or Chrome, I get the homepage but when I click “log in”, the page never loads. Eventually, it simply gives me an error message. I use Simplenote on my iPhone, and it’s A-ok there. I just can no longer access simplenote on my MacDesktop with the two web browsers i have on my computer. Help!

Further to my original post, the Contact Us, Help, Support Forum and Blog links all load fine. Just the Log in (and Sign up) links do not.
I’ve cleared cookies & history in Safari and Chrome too, but still cannot load the log in page.

Hi. You could try app.simplenote.com, which should take you direct to the login screen. If that works, select “login manually”, which will let you enter email and password in the conventional way.
Some further questions: Did this use to work on this computer? Is this an updated MacOS?

No, unfortunately app.simplenote.com does not work either.
Just eventually get the error message “Safari can’t connect to the server” (and a sim. message in Chrome.
My Mac desktop is using Mac OS Catalina 10.15.7.

Logging in to Simplenote via Chrome and Safari worked very recently (within last few weeks). It’s why I’m so surprised to be unable to bring up the log in page now.
My Mac has no recent updates. It is set to 10.15.7 and will not be updated further.
