Any way to copy all notes?

I’m trying to move a host of notes. (I cannot log in to my Android.) How do I export all notes from Simplenote? I have been told:
> Open Navigation Drawer: Tap the three-line menu icon in the app.
> Go to Settings: Scroll down and select the “Settings” item.
> Export Data: Under the “Account” section, tap “Export data.”
Except on my ‘phone there ain’t no “Export data.” option.
Is there a simple way of just copying all the notes in one lump? Then I can paste the text into a file …

Hi. That is correct, Export is not available on the iOS app. But you can do it in the Simplenote web app. Log in to app.simplenote.com in a browser, on your phone or computer. Follow the steps and it will download a notes.zip file. (By the way, Export is in the “Tools” tab of Settings, not “Account”.) The download is normally pretty quick. The file includes a json file containing all your notes, and a data folder containing each note as a text file.

“Export is not available on the iOS app.“ – It isn’t an iOS I’m using, it’s an Android.
“Log in to app.simplenote.com in a browser, on your phone…” – As noted, I cannot log in to Simplenote on my ‘phone – just like many others, I discover. I have been able to log in on my laptop but as yet, of course, have not been able to transfer anything to that account.
“(Export is in the “Tools” tab of Settings, not “Account”.)” – Yes, that it so on my laptop. As I cannot log in on my Android that link is not available.
So… Is there a way of selecting, then copying all my notes on my Android in one lump? Then I can paste the text into a file …?

You need to explain a lttle more the situation you are in. If you’ve been using Simplenote on your Andriod phone, your notes will have been synced to the Simplenote cloud server, so they are accessible from any device. I do not believe there is any way of selecting and copying all your notes in the Android app
Why are you unable to login to Simplenote on your phone?
Why can’t you login to that account using your computer browser? In the browser, you may be able to “login manually”, even if you no longer have access to your old email.
If you cannot access your old email, you need assistance from the hosts here. If so, I suggest that you create a new thread with that in the title.

I don’t know why I am unable to log in from my Android. I get the error message “Could not login with the provided email address and password”. This is the same email and password I use to log in on the website. (I have seen lots of posts of others who have the same problem.)
There are no notes in my online, laptop account. (As the ‘phone cannot log in, I presume I ain’t synced to the Simplenote cloud server.)
As you suggest, it does seem that I cannot select all the notes and copy them. I’ll have to do it one by one by one by one…

You must have been synced, and probably were the last time you edited on the Android.
If you are able to login to your existing account on the computer, but see no data, you might try a different browser.
As you have observed, the “Could not login” message does occur. Try posting a new thread with that question, and one of the hosts here should be able to help
