An Archive section in app
-
Adding an Archive section in the app will be super helpful. Sometimes we have to keep some notes for long, though we actually don’t need them frequently. Moving them a separate section just to store them without cluttering the home screen is a good option. Is it possible to bring that feature in near future?

Hi. Since Simplenote is declared to be “stable”, such a change is unlikely. I use the tags feature to achieve this. Active notes are tagged “Current”, and Current is at the top of the tags list (not sorted). When opening the app, I go straight to Current, ignoring the All Notes list. Notes which I want to retain are also tagged with a topic, e.g. “Music”, “Personal”, etc. (A note can have multiple tags.) Then, when a note has grown old, I just remove the “Current” tag. The notes are still accessible under the topic tag, while they no longer clutter Cuttent.
