Account Deletion Button Non-Functional

  Hello Simplenote Support,

  I am writing to request assistance with permanently deleting my Simplenote account. I have attempted to use the self-service deletion tool multiple times, but the process fails at the final verification step.

  The Issue: When I navigate to the deletion confirmation page and enter my password to confirm, the system rejects it or the “Delete Account” button fails to register the click.

  Troubleshooting Steps Already Taken:

  Password Reset: I successfully reset my password via the “Forgot Password” link and confirmed I could log in with the new credentials.
  Clean Environment: I attempted the deletion using a fresh instance of Google Chrome with no extensions (ad-blockers, script-blockers, etc., disabled).
  Multiple Attempts: I have tried this across multiple browsers (Vivaldi, Chrome, Brave, and Firefox) and devices, but the result is the same.

  Account Details:

  Registered Email: (email visible only to moderators and staff)
  Please advise on the next steps or process this deletion request directly. I am available to verify my identity via email.
