Why are some Simplenote entries grayed out?

Most of my notes appear normally but a few seem “grayed out” and hard to see. What causes that? Are they waiting for a sync? They stay that way for weeks. Any suggestion or advice appreciated.

Hi. Are you using the Simplenote app (which computer/OS), or the web app (which computer/browser)? Do you use Simplenote on more than one device/computer?
That’s not normal. Are you able to open those notes? Have you tried accessing them from the Simplenote web app (app.simplenote.com) to see if they’re up to date on the server?
