  I have searched for API for SimpleNote,
  because I had wanted to create a plugin
  to integrate SimpleNote into VScode.
  
  I organize many of my ideas and notes in SimpleNote,
  and it just seems to be convenient using it inside VSC,
  to avoid switching between apps.
  
  To be honest, I am really surprised that such a plugin
  does not exist already (before API searching
  I was looking for this plugin, as it seemed to be a no brainer).
  
  As you do not provide API, I kindly ask you
  to consider to create a plugin for VSCode !

  At the moment, Simplenote doesn’t have a public API and a VS Code plugin isn’t something we currently offer or have planned. That said, we’ve heard similar requests from other users, and I’ve added your feedback as another “vote” for this feature.
