Versions of web (app.simplenote) vs. windows client?

  The Windows client I am using shows version 2.21.0.

  On https://app.simplenote.com/, Sidebar hamburger and About show version 2.19.1.

  Is there a way to “update” the version on the web? Or are these versions tracking different experiences? It’s all some kind of electron app, so I assumed it would all be similar codebases.

  Is this a caching issue? Using latest Chrome, Win 10 64bit.

  Hi @mwexler 👋

  The Web app and the Windows app do have separate versioning, so they typically have different version numbers. You are using the current version of the web app and there’s no need to update it or anything, that will be managed automatically — as long as you refresh the web app occasionally.
