Using the SimpleNote trademark

I am going to release a companion app that builds a simple RAG AI pipeline on top of a SimpleNote export file. I would like to call this app “SimpleNote Assistant”. Please advise.

What will the app specifically do? Are you planning to use it for personal purposes or do you intend to release it as a public and commercial app?

@staff-fred Thank you for the reply! Sorry for the (quite) long delay, I never got a notification for this.
Essentially I’ve written a little AI assistant that can consume one’s notes and answer questions about them. I’ve been using it for the past year (I have it consume the notes simply by exporting SimpleNotes as json) and its quite good!
I’m wondering if SimpleNote would like to either partner on this (I would love to add it to the SimpleNote app) or give me their blessing to name it “Simplenote Assistant” or something similar should I release it publically.

Regarding your proposal for a partnership, while the idea is very interesting, our team is being kept quite busy with other projects on our roadmap at the moment. As part of Automattic, we have to carefully prioritize our focus across many different initiatives, and for that reason, we don’t have plans for new partnerships at this time.
