Updated email address now can not access account

I successfully changed my email, and now can not login. I did not change the password, just the email. The site said it would send me a code, which I got, and when I inputted the code the page refreshed automatically and said “logging out”. I have tried about 5 times since then, and when it says it is sending me an email confirm it does not arrive; I checked the junk folder and it is not there. When I try entering the password manually (and it is the correct one because I am copying & pasting directly from my password manager), the site responds by saying “logging out”. I tried logging in with my old email address and it says that the credentials are incorrect. So for some reason the site allowed me to change my login password but it won’t let me log in. Any ideas on how to recover the account? – Thanks
