Unable to sync

I am having a problem with syncing and using the app. Currently in Kenya.
Neither iPhone app, website nor Linux app will sync. I have logged out of the iPhone app and can no longer log in at all (I get an error saying the network cannot be reached). My internet access is fine but I can’t access simperium.com.
Any idea what’s going on? I see various other users having similar problems. This is a dealbreaker – if the sync is this unrealiable and I can’t even log into the app, I won’t be using simplenote again.

I’m having the same problem. The ability to sync comes and goes. It has been this way since last weekend.

Hello. I have the same proble in Ukraine.
No access to simperium.com. No access to app.simplenote.com. No connection to server.
In the Sunday its work but now its again not work.

Another user recently confirmed that they were able to access simperium.com and sync successfully again.
Could you try accessing simperium.com again? If the problem persists, please also try switching networks (e.g., using mobile data instead of Wi-Fi) to see if that makes a difference.

@staff-frank. Could you give us a clue as to what was wrong, so we know what to look for when it happens again? Was it inside the Automattic network, or in the carriers between us and Automattic? It seemed to affect many users in diverse locations, but never affected me. However, I have experienced a couple of brief sync failures in the past. Thanks.

@johnswift37 Honestly, we haven’t yet figured it out this time, but things are starting to function again. If any users still face the issue, we’d love to troubleshoot further with them to pinpoint the problem.
