Unable to login – not receiving emails from Simplenote

    Hello,

    I’ve been stuck for a while now (having moved to a new laptop) – unable to login to Simplenote on my new Windows device. I can’t login via the app, or web app – I’m told my password is incorrect (it isn’t), and when I request a login code, none appears. I also can’t reset my password (again, no email arrives). I don’t have a VPN in use.

    I can’t export any of my notes because the only place I’m still logged in is my iPhone. So I’m stuck with my notes there, unable to take them anywhere else.

    Any help on this much appreciated!

  • Hi! Thanks for reaching out. I’m sorry Simplenote is giving you trouble.

    As best I can tell from our logs, Simplenote has been sending the email messages. It’s a long shot, but could you please double-check your spam folder?

    Regardless, I’ll follow up in a separate email message with a link to reset your password. I know you mentioned above that you’re using the correct password, but we’ve found that a password reset will often clear up any login issues.

    Hi Mdawaffe – sorry for the delay getting back to you (been away) – and thank you for your help! Your email with the reset link worked, thank you – I’m now back into my notes!

    I can confirm (if useful to know) that the emails didn’t go into my spam… they just never appeared! Strange – but glad you’ve been able to help me fix it. Thanks so much.
