Unable to log in to any browser, but phone app works

On browsers (Firefox, Chrome, Edge, Opera) I can get to the login page, but after I put in my email and password I just get taken to a completely blank page. I’m able to use the app on my iPhone without any issue though.
I tried clearing cookies and cache, and turning off the firewall, but none of that has fixed it. Seems really odd that it’s not working across multiple browsers.

Hmm ok I tried it on there and it didn’t work either… again, same thing – after logging in just a fully blank page.

I wonder if your local network (router) is blocking something. Could you try using a browser on a different network? Or maybe try going through a VPN, if you have one.
Web access is working for me, so we’re trying to diagnose a problem specific to your usage.

Ok, I switched off Wifi and used my phone’s data – and that worked! Both on the phone browser and with tethering my laptop’s browser when tethering to my phone.
Switched back to the Wifi and my laptop browser went back to the white page when I refreshed.
Thanks for your help with that… any idea how I get the local network/router to unblock Simplenote? I’m at a location that I’ll be spending a lot of time at moving forward.

Hmmm. It sounds like your local network may be more than just a home router. It may include some sort of firewall. I did some research a while ago, and this is what I found:
The Simplenote web app accesses the following urls:
• app.simplenote.com – 216.239.32.21 Google LLC, USA.
• simplenote.go-vip.co – 192.0.66.2 Automattic, USA
• api.simperium.com – 192.0.84.247 Automattic, USA
• simperium.comThe native Simplenote apps only access Automattic addresses, so that Google one may be the problem. Is this a situation where you can request changes in the network setup, or is it locked down tight? If it’s locked down, you may be restricted to the native apps.

I just want to mention that there are native Simplenote apps for Windows, MacOS, and Linux. So you don’t have to use the web app on a computer. Of course, that might not be ideal on a shared computer.
