Transfer to new phone

I have used Simplenote on my Pixel 4a phone for several years. Recently, I was gifted with a new Pixel 8 phone. When the data was transferred from my Pixel 4a to my Pixel 8, the PlayStore app on my Pixel 8 said the Simplenote Google Pixel 4a was installed and I have not been able to get the Google Pixel 8 version installed on my Pixel 8 phone.

Hi. If all your notes are synced to the server (check by logging in to app.simplenote.com), you can uninstall the Simplenote app, deleting all data, then install the current version. You will need to enter your login on the new app.
