The line moves awkwardly while typing in Japanese (with browser/chrome app)

  Hi, I always work with Simplenote for my writings. However something wrong happening with Japanese input. Otherwise works perfectly with English, and mobile app.

  Here’s a screen record if needed.

  It seems because Japanese input normally has autocomplete (prediction or so), this sounds silly and so tiny problem but this compeletely annoys me and now I giving up to writing with my laptop.

  Please let me know if anyone knows what’s the cause or fix this so that I can keep using my loving app!

  Hi. As a test, try turning off autocomplete.

  Try installing the Simplenote app for your laptop. Versions are available for Mac, Windows, and Linux.

  Sadly it’s almost impossible to turnoff the autocomplete (I’m not sure “autocomplete” is right translate tho) for Japanese coz we NEED to convert hiragana to kanji.

  However I installed Mac app and it worked perfectly as I needed! Thanks so much for the advice john :)

  I’ll mark this as resolved. Hope they can fix it for the chrome app too!
