Synching issues

The app I use the most is on my iphone. It is working fine. But the app on my laptop and on my laptop browser is not reflecting the latest sync. I have opened and closed the browser several times on my laptop but it is clearly still stuck. There is no issue with internet connectivity but the “wheels of syncing” constantly whirl and never stop – same even when I open and close the browser and return to see if it has updated. How to fix please? I can do a lot on my iphone – but I cannot do certain things, such as those things I need to do now – and to do that I need to sync all my simplenote access points – this is usually never a problem. It just is today. I don’t get it. Total mystery. Please help.

I believe one of the challenges is that I posted an especially long note (18 pages in a google document). I have uploaded it to google docs and deleted it from simplenote. Still, the web app is not syncing properly.

Weird. Today, when I go to the browser version – and I have been to three on my laptop (chrome, duckduckgo, firefox), I get this message:
This page isn’t working
If the problem continues, contact the site owner.
HTTP ERROR 401
I think there is an issue with my account as a pal can sign in easily. However, I cannot. Iphone app seems fine. Laptop app too. Just browser website has error above on all browsers I have attempted to login to. Help simplenote staff?! Please.

Hi. If you’ve recently changed your Simplenote email or password, you might not be able to access your account using the web app. This is reported relatively often, and requires staff assistance to fix. Meanwhile you could try the native computer app; it’s available for all OS types.

But how do you contact staff?
The website guides you to post on this forum but there is no direct way to contact staff. I did change my password a number of times recently – so that must be it. Thanks again.

You just need to wait for them to notice your thread. They don’t visit every day, so patience is required.

It has been a couple weeks now and I still have no resolution or reach out from simplenote team – despite this post. Any suggestions please?

Apologies for the delay! Just to make sure I understand properly, just the Simplenote Web app is not allowing you to login, right?
If so, can you please try resetting your password via https://app.simplenote.com/forgot/
You would then need to log in on all of your devices, but that might help you to regain access to your account on the web app.
Please give it a try and let us know how it goes!
