Simplenotes crashing

  Hello, dear Simplenote-team

  Similar to the post from tatusiltanen, my Simplenots is crashing.

  For me, I do not hav ethe impression it is linked to a specific note. The app is closing afrer a few seconds of usage (2-4) without error message.

  I am using Simplenote as Flatpak on Debian 12, that installed recently, This problem did not emerge when using other distributions (such as Fedora 38) earlier. I don’t know if this is coincidence or may be helpful information to you.

  It seems like the app crashing issue is specific to that distribution version. Do you experience any issues when using the web app at https://app.simplenote.com on Debian 12?

  Also, have you tried installing the Simplenote app directly from the installer files here without using Flatpak?

  I confirm the observation it is an issue I only observed with Debian 12 so far.

  The issue emerges with the Flatpak version.
  The behaviour with the .deb version is similar – the app fails just after I entered username/password + enter.

  The issue does not appear when using the webapp (within Firefox).
