Hi I’ve always wanted to contribute to this app that I use so much but 20.99 pcm is just too much. They should be like 5 and 10 a month. 20.99 is more expensive than Spotify, netflix, Microsoft office… It’s just not realistic or affordable

I just wanted to add another suggestion – have you considered some sort of Patreon-like system where you can pay what you want but certain amounts get you access to features? Then anyone who just wants to chip in a little can do it for whatever amount they want (with a minimum ofc to cover fees), but you can still incentivize people to pay more for access to fancier features. And hopefully you don’t have to worry as much about getting the tiers right since you’re not limiting people to paying certain amounts. Like, I would personally pay something like $10/mo for nothing in return, easily. Maybe down the line I’d feel like bumping it up to the full $20, but $10 is a no-brainer for me. But maybe there’s some people out there who want to do the same but they can only afford to pay $5/mo.
(Also, if this is a silly suggestion for some reason I’m curious to know why – I’ve always wondered why more companies don’t do this but if there’s some complexity to how the finances work or something that’s not really obvious to an end user, I’d love to know for future reference!) -
