simplenote suddenly duplicates typed words infinitely

it just duplicates certain phrases..very annoying..can’t get things done with this..im on android 12 by the way..wish i could post pictures here so i could send a screenshot

same here been happening for few days now. I have seen it duplicating a line of text over a hundred times and even when i delete it keeps coming back

The Simplenote servers had some performance issues, but the situation has improved. This impacted sync, which is why characters are duplicated in the app. The team is still monitoring the services and working on preventing the same issue from happening again.
