Simplenote file disappeared

Short time ago opened Simplenote to find that important file has disappeared. It is not in Trash or History. Need this file …I can not do anything without the information. My windows 11 laptop, my android phone, and ipad have all lost this file.

Try searching in the app for something reasonably unique in the file. You may just have accidentally retitled or retagged it. Search will find it, if it’s anywhere.
BTW, if that file contains passwords, that’s probably a very bad idea anyway.

Thanks for reaching out about your lost note.
Lost notes can usually be found either in the Trash or in the history of an existing note. We recommend checking the trash and revisions in whichever app you use the most, as well as the web app at https://app.simplenote.com.
It’s worth restoring notes from the Trash so you can view their history. Pay particular attention to any blank notes you can see or titles you don’t recognize.
To search the history, open a note and click the clock icon at the top, then move the slider.
Also, use the search field to check for content that may have been in the note. We don’t recommend just searching for the title, as we’ve seen people have trouble finding notes when accidentally deleting or changing the title text.
