Simplenote crashing on iMac when delete a note

Running Simplenote 2.19 on M1 iMac running MacOS 14.1.2. Not sure if it crashes when adding or changing a note but it crashes sometimes when I delete a note. Anyone else have this problem? Any solution? Don’t want to give up on Simplenote, no other app meets my needs so well.

I’m sorry to hear your running into a crash when using Simplenote on your Mac. Thanks for bringing this to our attention.
Can you share with us how often this is happening? Have you noticed anything consistent with the note you’re deleting when the crash occurs? Are they newly created, long or short in length, etc?

Thanks for your reply. Just certain entries caused a crash when I opened them. I can’t unfortunately quote the contents to you, because apparently they didn’t cause a crash on all my machines and I was able to delete the offending posts on a different machine. Since then I haven’t had any problem, which is nice, because I don’t know of any note-taking app that meets my needs like Simplenote does.—RB
