Sign in issues, then when I could sign in, all my notes were gone.

I got a new phone, then tried to sign in late 2023. I tried to reset password on the desktop web, the password link came, but I couldn’t reset it due to some server side problem. “An error occurred”. I tried again today on my iPhone, and it worked. But when I signed in, my years of notes were just gone!
My password manager actually tells me I’ve changed my email address on the same account much earlier last year. I could have done that and I track my accounts tightly. I tried to forget password on my new email address, but that password link never came. But when I tried with my old email address, that reset password email came. So I guess my account is under my old email?
But why is it empty?
Can I DM a mod both my email addresses so that someone can check what happened to my notes please? I have years of private data that has all disappeared! Very troubling.

hi @staff-fred no one ever wrote to me. Not in junk either because I have mail filters for mail from Simplenote. So, I left an app review. The developer’s positive response was to respond to the automated email “to be escalated” but no one ever replies.
What is going on? Do you guys keep telling people “write to us and we’ll respond” and never do? How many weeks and months do we have to wait for a response before you consider it unacceptable?
