Syncing only worked on my Android when I turned Wi-Fi off and used 4G connection. For me, it still works at home but not at my office – although it’s the same internet provider.
It only works in my office when Proton VPN connects to a US server. -
This is not the 1st time that there has been a chaotic multi day disruption to Simplenote service. What is concerning that there is insufficient interaction / information from Simplenote’s staff here on the official forum. We are assuming that many of them use Simplenote so they will be aware of the current problems / status almost instantly.
Perhaps now is the time to switch to the much more stable Apple Notes, if you are with Apple or another product. This for me will be a shame as I have been with Simplenote for over 10 years and much prefer the look of it. I cannot risk losing data during Simplenotes eratic service periods.
May Simplenote’s memory be a blessing.

@johnswift37 I have been using SimpleNote on Android, Web, and Windows for 2 years just fine before it suddenly started acting up. While I do have a firewall on my Windows box, I did not have one on my Android and the Web version should not be blocked since it’s just using the standard http/https ports. For the Windows client, I did not make any changes to the firewall recently.
The problem eventually resolved itself. The next day, it was still showing three unsynchronized notes in Windows and one on the Web, so I changed the text in each of those notes by adding a space, which was enough to retrigger their sync and then suddenly everything was working again! -

It seems the issue is gone. I have just tested syncing on Firefox and on the Windows app and it worked 100%. I was also able to access simperium.com from
.

I’m having issues AGAIN. Couldn’t sync last night and had to use my smartphone as a hotspot to update Simplenote on the PC.

- What device and OS are you using when the problem occurs?
- What version of Simplenote are you using on that device?
- Are you connected to Wi-Fi or mobile data?
- Are there any error messages displayed?

- What device and OS are you using when the problem occurs? PC with Windows 10 Pro and Android smartphone (does not sync on Wifi, but does on 4G).
- What version of Simplenote are you using on that device? Web app, 2.23.0 on Windows and latest Android version.
- Are you connected to Wi-Fi or mobile data? In my office, I use ethernet cable and Wifi at home.
- Are there any error messages displayed? No. It simply does not sync on ethernet cable and WiFi.

Which Internet provider are you using in the office and at home? Is it the same as your mobile service provider? This is important because different providers use different internet routes to reach the same server.
Could you post a tracert for one of the connections that does not work?

I use a Brazilian internet provider called G6 Internet at home and at work. On mobile, I use Vivo.

Holy crap! I just tried simprerium.com and I was able to access it again! I don’t know what happened, but Simplenote is working.

@brunocasarini It looks like the issue is with your Internet provider. In case you this happened again, please try reaching out to them and see if there are any traffic being blocked or such. If you/they need any info from our side, please let us know. We’ll do our best to provide it.

- What version of Simplenote are you using on that device?
- Are you connected to Wi-Fi or mobile data? If Wi-Fi, is it at home, work, or another location?
- What is your Internet Service Provider (ISP)?
- Are you experiencing any specific error messages? If so, please provide the exact text or a screenshot.
Also, could you please confirm if you are also using G6 Internet as your provider?

I can’t use sync or access http://simperium.com/ from Bangladesh. Happening for about a month.
