Searching through history of files in Trash

  Hello, I really hope you can help me please. I created a note on Friday September 29th 2023 using SimpleNote on Windows 10. I then cut the text from it to paste into a different programme and moved the empty note to Trash. I can’t find the text I cut and I can’t find the SimpleNote in Trash. To make it harder of course, when I moved the note to trash it was blank. I trashed 7-8 notes at the time and none appear in Trash.

  The note was created on September 29th 2023, moved to Trash on September 30th, and included the words: “Ellis”, “biscuit” and “Hanway”.

  Please can you help me find it?

  Hello @simonfrancisbrown. We will do all we can to help. After restoring notes from the trash, were you able to check the version history of the note?

  It’s worth restoring notes from the Trash so you can view their history. Pay particular attention to any blank notes you can see or titles you don’t recognize.

  To search the history, open a note and click the clock icon at the top, then move the slider.
