Screen jumping to end of list

  Using Samsung S23+ for Simplenote. One UI ver 7.0, Android Ver 15, Sec patch level 9/1/2025.

  When in app individual note screen will jump randomly to last line of note. Curser stays where it was positioned but a note over a page long will hide the cursor above. Space bar will bring it back into view but at very top line of display. Using touchscreen to scroll page does not solve the misbehaviour, it will just randomly return to the bottom of the note. The screen also randomly flickers about 20% of the time like it is unstable.

  Do I have a setting wrong in the app or on the phone or is this an adroid update that is affecting the app? I just upgraded from a Samsung S9, on which Simplenote has been rock solid for years.

  Hi. Have you tried just turning off “suggest corrections” for the Simplenote app alone, as described in this post: https://forums.simplenote.com/forums/topic/becoming-unusable-on-android-phone-jumping-to-bottom-of-note-bug/page/2/#post-2839 ? This is a problem caused by the Samsung implementation of suggestions.
