Request for Custom Sorting of Notes in SimpleNote

  Dear Developer,

  I am wondering if it might be possible to include Custom Sorting that will enable the user to reorder or reorganize the list of notes by tapping on any note, dragging it and dropping it anywhere above or below other notes.

  I think this will be a very useful feature that will further enhance user experience.

  Hi. This is unlikely to happen, given the current status of Simplenote, as explained here https://forums.simplenote.com/forums/topic/customer-update-on-simplenote/.

  Meanwhile, you can use pinning to force notes to the top of the list. You can tag selected notes, and view the list of tagged items. I use the “Current” tag as my home list; I never use “All Notes”. Finally, you can modify the note titles, with prefixes like “aaaa”, provided you use alphabetical sort.
