Recovering a note past stored history

I checked today and realized that in merging my desktop and mobile, the writing I did on my mobile has been deleted. I checked the history and it only goes back a few hours and I believe the merge happened yesterday. Is there any way to go back to the stored mobile note before the merge or to go further back in history? I have tried the web app and the history only goes back a few hours today.
Would really like to recover the writing on my mobile if possible!

Hi. Not sure about the history, but I can clarify how Simplenote works. There is no merge capability, like a software source control system. When you edit a note in the desktop or mobile apps, it is automatically synced to the Simplenote server. When you open a note in the app, it pulls the note from the server if the server copy is newer. So, there is only one current version of a note, shared by all clients. If you edit the same note on different apps when the devices are off-line, results are unpredictable, and probably not desired.

Note to support folks: The Simplenote Help page (linked from the app, not the “bot”) says “All Simplenote apps are designed to be used offline”, and explains how to do it. But it does not warn about the lack of merging when editing on two devices, at least one of which is off-line.

I specifically choose Simplenote because at one point there was merging. I even tested the merging. It must have been remove at some point?
The main question I guess now is on recovering the note history .

Please note I am willing to pay a support fee for data recovery. I believe since it’s only a day old, the history should still be on the servers. It would be quite helpful for my research. thank you

@kailasvs1 Unfortunately, if your content isn’t in the Version History, and doesn’t show up in the export file on the web, it can no longer be recovered.

please help me recover a past note. My phone keyboard is faulty and mistakenly replaced it with a v after highlighting it

@prince3gud The first step is to check your note history. Most Simplenote apps allow you to view previous versions of a note. Look for any blank or duplicate notes and check their history. You might find your original content there.
If you can’t find the note in the history, you may want to check your Trash folder. Notes deleted from the main list are moved to the Trash, and they still retain their version history.
