    1. Synching: Adding text files to SimpleNote from the synching using URLs.
    2. Access via Link: Add files to SimpleNote by importing from a URL, including direct links to files stored in Dropbox or Google Drive shared folders.

Have shared folder link is available in internet as public shared folder link which has many text files. We can only access text files via the shared folder link. Don’t have credentials to login into the app itself as it is just readonly shared folder which has text files.

    Example,
Shared folder in Dropbox via link
Shared folder in GoogleDrive via link

    Shared folder via synching

Need support direct syncing of documents/text from shared folders in Dropbox or Google Drive by simply providing a link. sync documents directly from a URL or a cloud service without the need of credentials as Read-Only.

  • Thank you for your suggestion! I’ve added it to our list of feature requests. Features are considered by our developers for every release based on the number of requests we receive for that feature.

Is there a way we can see the list of features and approx target date of the features which everyone can see it any where?

Any chance of getting this viewed at some interval?

We don’t have a list of features nor target dates we can share. Personally, I would be surprised if this feature request is added any time soon. Any new features that are added to Simplenote are usually based on factors like the number of user requests, and this one does not have many.
