Random Crashes on Windows

  On Windows, if I am using SimpleNote a lot, it will randomly crash about once per day. The entire app window will turn white and freeze. I tried waiting for 10 minutes or so once, but it never recovered. The only way to fix it is by killing it with the task manager and restarting. Fortunately, it saves often enough that usually only a few words of text get lost. Next time I will try to check the memory footprint to see if it has a memory leak. It only happens during editing – if the app is just open without me typing in it, then it will stay running all day. Every time it does crash, it does so while typing.

  @ph0t0nx From your other forum threads, I see you’re already using Simplenote 2.22.2. Can you let me know which version of Windows you’re using, however? This can help us investigate the crashes further.

  Thanks Cara! I am currently using 2.22.1 because it has the fixed word wrapping. I’m also on Windows 10. I’m not sure if it’s related, but my internet connection isn’t stellar – it occasionally drops pings or gets really slow.
