Publish notes mistake how remove?

hello, I often find it’s too easy to mistakenly publish notes and press he button, it publishes notes when I really don’t want that to happen.
once I have pushed the button mistakenly. How on earth do I remove the publish note find the published note or even know if I have done this in the first place?
is there a way I can remove published notes? It’s a bit of a jammy feature and I can’t seem to find a way to control it or see other posts on this or in the help files.
please help!

Hi. Depending on the Simplenote app you’re using, there may be an icon on the notes list indicating that the note was published. And generally there is an Unpublish option in the same menu that you used to publish the note.
Could you please be more specific about which Simplenote app you’re using: iOS, Android, Windows, MacOS, Linux, web app?
