Hi! I was able to find a Simplenote account associated with the email address you use for your WordPress.com account.
Lost notes can usually be found either in the Trash or in the history of an existing note. To look in the Trash, open a web browser and go to https://app.simplenote.com. Then click the “Tags” link at the top left and select “Trash”. It’s worth restoring some notes from the Trash so you can view their history. Pay particular attention to any blank notes you can see.
To search the history, open a note and click the clock icon at the top then move the slider.
