  Hi,

  I like simplenotes but the necessity to switch between markdown and plan text view is annoying. Joplin resolved this with two panels (raw test and text with formatting applied). Logseq and Obsidian have automatic / live markdown application.

  • Can you please do the same?
  • Can you at least add the option for it?

  @richouxf680366ffe If you create a note with Markdown in Simplenote, the next notes should have it enabled.

  Simplenote Android app will remember the last time you enabled or disabled Markdown on a note and apply that setting when notes are created.

  If that doesn’t work for you, can you please let us know what platform (Android, iOS, Web, etc.) do you use Simplenote on?

  No, this sadly doesn’t answer the question.

  Users would like to be able to write their notes and add **markdown** and see the result immediately, instead of constantly switching between editing view and formatted view.
