Phantom key presses on all samsung devices

When trying to use simple note on a galaxy flip 5 or s9 ultra, I get weird phantom text entry, or the page jumps to the bottom of the page while im typing about every ten seconds. This is on stock samsung devices where the first app i install is simple note. It only happens on samsung devices, but it makes simplenote much less useful for me since the point is syncing between all my devices. Even if i access simplenote through chrome, edge or firefox via a samsung android device, it still has weird phantom keypresses. By phantom keypresses, i mean that if I type the word “cars” it would read “ccars”
