-
Hello,
I’m trying to recover my account, but no email for password reset arrives to my email. I can send my email in private to a mod.

I am having this same issue and have sent three emails to customer service that have been unanswered. This is very frustrating and annoying

@kontakte6812b6ae7 We’ll follow up with you via your email so we can give you the update regarding the “Change My Password” button issue. Note that we’ll write to you from the email address you used for your account in this Forum (can be the same with your Simplenote account email or not).
@rebeccayaffe I’ve just replied to your other thread and we’ll also reply to your email. Thank you for your understanding!

Same here. I can’t access via the WordPress login, and creating a new password doesn’t work either.

@lucasmalore3a881ab57. I think they may be waiting until there is an update. Looks like this is an actual site problem that needs fixing.

Just wanted to give a quick update that we managed to resolve the issue with the
Change My Passwordbutton in the Reset Password button. For those who still need to reset their password, we encourage to try and let us know if that’s still an issue.@lucasmalore3a881ab57 It seems you’re experiencing a slightly different issue where you’re not receiving any emails at all. We’ll try sending another email. If you still don’t receive it, could you kindly update the email associated with your WordPress.com account that you use for this Forum? That way, we can get in touch with you through that email. Thanks!

What does it mean? I have to use the same email I use for Simplenote for WordPress?

@lucasmalore3a881ab57 You’re not obligated to, but updating the email address associated with your account in this Forum would greatly help us connect with you more efficiently.
Alternatively, feel free to provide a different email here for us to use for further contact. Rest assured, only our staff will be able to see this email.
-
It seems the mail of this forum does not work, since I’m not advised by replies. So I prefer to give to you my email:
(email visible only to moderators and staff)

I did not received any email…. the last email I posted is my main mail. And it’s gmail.
I don’t receive any notifies of this forum, and I used a gmail mail also here….
-
@lucasmalore3a881ab57 That’s quite strange! Just to double-check, have you also looked in your Spam folder for any emails from us?
Furthermore, did you access your email through an email client app or a web browser at https://gmail.com?
Could you also please verify if you have any filters or protections in place that might be blocking emails from
@simplenote.com? -
Email change created a password reset loop.
I changed my email recently to the same one used for the forum login. Then after trying to use it for logging into other devices, login would fail. So I tried changing password and the password reset does not send an email to my new address. It does send an email to my prior address.
When I try the prior address, I also don’t have login success.
Also password reset using original email gives a “reset failure”. Please help

Same here. I forgot my password (but didn’t I log in with Google?) and when I asked for a reset I get the message on the lines of “if the account exists an email will be sent to the address” but nothing has arrived.
note: when I asked to reset the password I was looged in the simplenote app on one of my Android phones.
then I logged out (and now I no longer have access to my notes) and requested a new reset. Still nothing. My email is Gmail and no, no filters and nothing on spam. I still have the first two email after my first login years ago.
What happens?
