Notes not synchronizing, now disappeared

    I added notes from my iOS app. The next day, I opened the app on my Windows machine. I could not find any of the new notes or modifications. I went to the web app, and it was entirely blank with no notes. In the web app, I am receiving a message “Simplenote has not communicated with the server in a while…”

    I uninstalled and reinstalled my Windows app to see if it would pull the new notes and now my Windows app is blank. I am stopping my troubleshooting here because I’m afraid of losing all my notes. Anyone else experiencing these issues?

    Still working perfectly for me, and I’m a devoted iOS Simplenote user. Have you done anything to your iOS device that might interfere with internet access: ad blocker, alternate DNS, etc.? Does your device connect over WiFi at least sometimes? And, just to be sure, are you using the same Simplenote user ID for all these accesses?

    Yes, please first ensure you’re logged into the same user account on all your devices.

    Also, if you’ve updated your email address for your Simplenote account at any point, please let us know. We might need to investigate if it caused trouble for you in accessing your notes.
