Note just disappeared

I opened up the Simplenote app on my macbookair and looked at the information, closed the note and went back and the note was gone. It’s not even in my trash and when I use the Simplenote website it’s not there either. Help!!!

Happy to help! Lost notes can usually be found either in the Trash or in the history of an existing note.
I know you’ve already looked in the trash once, but it’s worth restoring notes from the Trash so you can view their history if you haven’t already. Pay particular attention to any blank notes you can see or titles you don’t recognize.
To search the history, open a note and click the clock icon at the top, then move the slider.
Also, use the search field to check for content that may have been in the note. We don’t recommend just searching for the title, as we’ve seen people have trouble finding notes when accidentally deleting or changing the title text.
