Not syncing / Server connection

I have been using Simplenote for more than a year without any issues. Since last couple of days, I have been noticing my notes (if I add anything new to one, or create one) is no longer syncing (sync button is always on). Then if I log out and log back in, all my notes disappear. This in fact I noticed few days earlier. Then somehow it would sync again. I think it is a communication with server issue. I am from Bangladesh, if that helps. As someone suggested in another thread to check if http://simperium.com is accessible from a browser, it is not.

Not syncing and all my notes seem to be vanished too (as they are not syncing). Fortunately, I exported them simply out of curiosity a few days earlier. However, I really liked this app and want to continue use it if possible? Seems like some users are experiencing the same problem. Please respond.

I also tried to access it using my office internet, it is not working there as well. Also not working for mobile data. I am using web application (both on Mac and windows).

I’m having the same problem as shafiqulc23, but I *can* access simperium.com It has been a problem for me for about the last six hours. This is behaving similarly to the outage of a couple of months ago.

Same here, i removed the not, restart program and add the note == Don’t help.
Have happen before, and to big notes. -
If either of you are still having trouble with sync, can you try logging in to the Simplenote web app from within a web browser at https://app.simplenote.com/?
Then, please check the notes from there to see if they are all correct and up to date.
If they are, you can safely log out and log back in to the Simplenote app on all your devices. When you log in again, all of the notes that are stored on the Simplenote service will be re-synced and that should resolve any syncing issues going forward.
If you aren’t seeing the correct notes in the web app or another Simplenote app, please let us know and we can continue troubleshooting from there. Please let us know:
- What devices you use Simplenote on
- Their operating systems and versions
- The Simplenote versions on each

I have the same issue. I have a problem with server connection. Furthermore, I’m not sure whether can I close Windows app and my notes will be not removed forever?

Same issue here. Simplenote on my iPhone no longer syncs. Logged out and logged back in, still no notes. Using AT&T cell only, no wifi.

Simplenote server connection down.
Agree with all the other posts here. I have 3 laptops and an S23 Ultra running the app and obviously the web app on windows 11/Chrome. Sporadic synching (if at all) and the web app is the most out of date by 2-3 weeks by the looks of it.
Everything this end is fully updated and restarted. Internet is stable 100/20Mbps.
Simplenote seems to just be an LLM bot now – I can go to Grok3/ChatGPT for that! grrr
Im having to back up my notes hourly.
Who else is seeing similar issues?
Simplenote – please fix this ASAP.

The web app is out of date by a good few weeks (since checking this morning).
I am using 3 windows 11 machines and an S23 Ultra.
Windows 11 Home, 24H2, 26100.3476, windows feature experience pack 1000.26100.54.0.
S23 Ultra SM-S918B, Androide v14, One UI v6.1
I have backed up my notes (doing it hourly) – just waiting for the simplenote server error to be fixed.

So I logged out and in on https://app.simplenote.com/ and like others have said, I lost all my notes – just got an empty simplenote list.
I imported all my notes again and nothing is syncing (notes are showing but all ~800 showing the revolving sync symbol, not a single note syncing with https://app.simplenote.com/
Further, any note changes via the desktop app renders the endlessly revolving syncing symbol. Phone doesnt show the symbol but nothing is syncing with the server. Bit of a mess right now.
https://app.simplenote.com/ seems to be the issue here – like the servers are stuffed or something, thats how it looks from this end.

We seem to be in another period of Simplenote instability the last 3 or 4 days.
Probably the time now to head over to Apple Notes.
