Not able to paste in Simplenote on Windows 10

Copy/paste in Simplenote works well on my Android phone, but I cannot paste just copied or cut texts anymore within Simplenote on my Windows 10 pc (my browser is Google Chrome): I can cut/copy text in Simplenote and then paste it outside Simplenote, but not within Simplenote. Any solutions? Cheers, Martin

Due to limitations in the framework that we’re using to develop Simplenote, we’re not able to include a paste function in the right-click menu. But you can use ctrl+v to paste or you can select Paste from the Edit menu.

I switched from Chrome to Firefox and I cannot paste anywhere in simplenote now. Ctrl-V does nothing. I just updated firefox to 141.0 and still doesn’t work. Strangely though Shift-Insert does paste, but I don’t have much muscle memory for that. I’d give anything for it to just use a regular normal plain text box.

I also use Firefox 141.0 on Windows 10 and can’t paste with Ctrl+V. It stopped working like, a few days ago I think? Shift+Insert does still work though (thanks dougkavendek this was driving me crazy)
