Norton AV deletes downloaded Windows file

  I downloaded the Windows desktop app (Windows 10 running), but Norton AV deleted it, said it’s unsafe due to threat name WS.Reputation.1. Please advise, thanks

  Just asking, did you install it from the Microsoft Store, or from a 3rd-party site?

  from the MS store, which is what makes it so surprising. Never saw Norton do this before. FWIW I tried with 2 different browsers

  Yeah. These virus/malware detectors sometimes identify false signatures, but who knows? That’s one for Simplenote to chack out.

  Do you still experience the same problem?
