Hi @wackysalmon 👋
Nor VPN identified simplenote.com as a malicious and phishing site. I had to disconnect Nord to be able to access my notes.
I recommend contacting NordVPN support and request them to remove the restriction on their end. You may also find out from them if it’s possible to add Simplenote URLs (you can find the list here) to the allowlist in your NordVPN client.

Correction:
Avast identified https://app.simplenote.com as being infected with URL:Phishing
-
Avast is blocking my access to https://app.simplenote.com saying that this is infected with URL:Phishing
Is it safe to add https://app.simplenote.com to the list of places that Avast should allow access to? Or should I stop using Simplenote?
This is extremely inconvenient as I have been using Simplenote for many years and have lots of useful notes saved. -

I believe I know what’s happening here. The problem is that we login to app.simplenote.com, then we are redirected to api.simperium.com, which is were the notes are actually stored. This causes these diligent protectors to think that app.simplenote.com is a phishing website, stealing our login before redirecting to the “actual” server at simperium.com.
So you should add app.simplenote.com to the list of allowed servers in avast.
