No spell check in Simplenote 2.16 on Mac 10.13

  Hi. I have an old MacBook Pro (early 2011) running macOS 10.13 (latest possible version) and Simplenote 2.16 (latest possible version). There doesn’t appear to be any spell check. I have Simplenote 2.18 running on a newer Mac and this does have spell check. Does Simplenote 2.16 not have spell check?

  Hi. I think spell checking is a feature of the OS, not of Simplenote. You need to enable it in the system keyboard Settings.

  @johnswift37 is right. The Simplenote Mac app uses the built-in spellcheck functionality in Mac, so please make sure it’s enabled in the system preferences.
